Kicking off the weekend of the Table Talk Foundation Sussex Showcase, sponsored by Harwoods Group and Ridgeview Wine Estate, is 64 Degrees with a one off tasting menu created by guest chef Anna Haugh & resident chef Michael Bremner.
Price – £250pp including 7 course tasting menu, Ridgeview and matching wines.
Anna Haugh, Myrtle
Anna Haugh takes old Irish recipes and refines them, making the dishes more elegant but still with the heartbeat of Ireland. This is felt through her restaurants Myrtle in Chelsea, London and Anna Haugh at The Conrad, where there is a large focus on great Irish produce, music, and culture.
Anna has worked with an array of chef’s including Phillip Howard and Gordon Ramsay and is a TV regular on BBC’s Morning Live and is a new Judge in Master Chef’s: The Professionals with Marcus Wareing and Gregg Wallace.
Michael Bremner, 64 Degrees
Originally from Aberdeen, Michael started out washing pots in a country house hotel where his mother worked as a chef.
After five years he moved to London where he cooked for chefs including Curtis Stone at the award-winning Quo Vadis. Michael then spent time in Australia and Canada before settling in Brighton where he now runs his own restaurant 64 Degrees, which has been named as one of the UK’s Top 100 Restaurants of 2017 by The Sunday Times.
Michael got through to the final banquet of Great British Menu series 12 in 2017 getting to cook at Wimbledon.
