Kicking off the week of the Table Talk Foundation Sussex Showcase is 64 Degrees with our first ever six hands dinner! A one-off tasting menu created by guest chefs Glynn Purnell & Kray Treadwell, alongside resident chef Michael Bremner.

Price – £200pp including 7-course tasting menu, Ridgeview and matching drinks.

Glynn Purnell, Purnell’s Restaurant, One Michelin Star *

Glynn is the proud owner of Purnell’s Restaurant in Birmingham, which opened in July 2007 and was awarded a Michelin star in 2009.

After training with top chefs including Gordon Ramsay, Gary Rhodes and Claude Bosi, Glynn travelled abroad to work with well-known Michelin-starred chefs in Europe.

Glynn has become a household name after taking part in the Great British Menu, winning twice and later appearing as a mentor. He has previously featured on The Great British Food Revival and The Secret Chef, among other television programmes. He can regularly be seen on Saturday Kitchen as a guest chef and host. He presented the latest series of My Kitchen Rules UK alongside Rachel Allen.

Kray Treadwell, 670 Grams

Kray started working in his hometown of Birmingham at Purnell’s where he first gained experience working in a Michelin-starred kitchen. After leaving Purnell’s he went on to become Head Chef for Michael O’Hare at The Man Behind The Curtain.

Kray made it to the banquet of the 2019 series of Great British Menu and won the Michelin Young Chef Award 2021.

In August 2020, Kray went on to open his own eclectic, modern dining restaurant 670 Grams.

Michael Bremner, 64 Degrees

Originally from Aberdeen, Michael started out washing pots in a country house hotel where his mother worked as a chef.

After five years he moved to London where he cooked for chefs including Curtis Stone at the award-winning Quo Vadis. Michael then spent time in Australia and Canada before settling in Brighton where he now runs his own restaurant 64 Degrees, which has been named one of the UK’s Top 100 Restaurants of 2017 by The Sunday Times.

Michael got through to the final banquet of Great British Menu series 12 in 2017 getting to cook at Wimbledon.
