For children hungry to learn

Adopt a School

Adopt a School brings chefs and hospitality professionals into primary schools to deliver a high-quality food education programme, helping children to develop healthy eating habits, encourage an enthusiasm and interest in food, and give an insight into the hospitality industry.

By improving opportunities for children and changing a generation’s attitude to food we can go some way to combat health inequalities. Early intervention and preventative work is critical to addressing the nation’s health crisis.

Adopt a School has supported 400+ schools and 500,000 school children since 1990. 93% of schools rated the programme as ‘excellent’ and 7% rated it as ‘good’.
