Our Purpose

To deliver high quality food education and an insight to the hospitality industry to the children of our community.

To provide mental and physical health support and financial assistance to our local hospitality industry.

For children hungry to learn

FOOD EDUCATION

We work with the Adopt a School Trust to bring our full time professional chef teacher into primary schools to deliver a high-quality food education programme, helping children to develop healthy eating habits, encourage an enthusiasm and interest in food, and give an insight into the hospitality industry.

By improving opportunities for children and changing a generation’s attitude to food we can go some way to combat health inequalities. Early intervention and preventative work is critical to addressing the nation’s health crisis.

Adopt a School has supported 400+ schools and 500,000 school children since 1990. 93% of schools rated the programme as ‘excellent’ and 7% rated it as ‘good’.

Supporting Hospitality

We are working to provide mental and physical health support and financial assistance to our local hospitality industry.

We have already given grants to Hospitality Action who help thousands of people within the UK hospitality industry who find themselves in difficulty or crisis.

They offer a whole range of support services including financial grants, and counselling and advisory support, to help hospitality people back on their feet again after a setback. Over the course of the pandemic Hospitality Action has helped thousands of families put food on the table and keep a roof over their heads. They have provided a safety net for hospitality retirees facing isolation and they’ve worked hard to protect the mental and emotional wellbeing of those most vulnerable across UK hospitality.
