Kicking off the weekend of the Table Talk Foundation Sussex Showcase, sponsored by Bentley and Ridgeview Wine Estate, is 64 Degrees with a one off tasting menu created by guest chef Adam Handling & resident chef Michael Bremner.
Price – £250pp including 7 course tasting menu, Ridgeview and matching wines.
Adam Handling, Frog by Adam Handling
Adam started out at Gleneagles 16 years ago, before going on to become Fairmont’s youngest ever Head Chef. Adam’s awards include Scottish Chef of the Year, British Culinary Federation’s Chef of the Year, Chef of the Year in the Food & Travel Awards and the youngest person named as the Caterer’s ‘30 under 30 to watch’. He was named Restaurateur of the Year in the British GQ Food and Drink Awards 2020, before earning his first Michelin star in 2022.
Michael Bremner, 64 Degrees
Originally from Aberdeen, Michael started out washing pots in a country house hotel where his mother worked as a chef.
After five years he moved to London where he cooked for chefs including Curtis Stone at the award-winning Quo Vadis. Michael then spent time in Australia and Canada before settling in Brighton where he now runs his own restaurant 64 Degrees, which has been named as one of the UK’s Top 100 Restaurants of 2017 by The Sunday Times.
Michael got through to the final banquet of Great British Menu series 12 in 2017 getting to cook at Wimbledon.
